Rankavi is a software as a service (SaaS) platform that publishes brand mentions in articles on indexed third-party websites. Brands use Rankavi to build mentions that AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity can find.
These docs cover how to submit mentions from the dashboard or the API, how placement works, and how to track every mention.
Getting started
1. Create your account
Sign up at app.rankavi.com/sign-up with just an email. No credit card is required to create an account.
2. Add credits
Each brand mention costs one credit. Credits cost $15 per mention, or $12 per mention in the 50-credit pack, and they never expire. Prefer not to write? Done-for-you plans cost $20 per mention, billed monthly, and the Rankavi team handles research, writing, and placement.

3. Submit your article
Submit up to 5,000 words per article, such as a best-of listicle, product review, or brand comparison. The editor supports structured HTML, including tables, lists, and captions. You can submit from the dashboard or automate it with the Rankavi API.
4. Placement
Rankavi matches your article to an indexed website in the same niche, from a network of over 20,000 websites across 74 niches. You can't pick a specific site. Every article goes live exactly as you wrote it, as an unlinked brand mention.
5. Confirmation
You get an email with a link to your live article once it's published, usually within one working day. If a mention is unpublished, broken, or returns a 404 error, you get your credit back.
6. Track your mentions
Every mention appears in My Mentions with its publication date, title, live status, and Ahrefs metrics: Domain Rating, referring domains, and backlinks.
